There's not much I can say except the show was pretty spectacular. I remember way way back in the day when they were struggling and playing small gigs in OC with other bands like Brown Lobster Tank and GameFace...and it's SOOOO SWEET to see that they've MADE IT! It was great to see them all together --- Adrian in his jock strap behind the drumkit...Tom killin it on guitar...Tony with boundless energy on the bass...and Gwen back to her roots with the band. I love her as a solo artist, but IMHO, she has to be with No Doubt. It wouldn't be the same without her.
And can I please just say, GWEN IS JUST GORGEOUS! I need the number to her trainer...Her abs are ridiculous!!! She sure doesn't look like she's had two babies. Damn.
All in all, it was just a great show. The set was all white with the band members clad in white, black or a combination of both. The main jolts of color came from the lighting and the huge screen backdrop on which flashed anything from words, to geometric shapes, to music videos, to silhouettes of the band members dancing to the music. ((I want to design concert sets like that when I grow up. Who do I need to speak to??))
If you haven't seeing No Doubt yet, add them to your list of "bands to see in concert". You won't be disappointed.
